Introducing Andisheh

Who are you?

Hello there! My name is Andisheh, my friends call me Andy. I am 37, born and raised in Tehran-Iran and recently moved to the Netherlands together with my cat “Lucifer”.

What would you like people to know about you?

I care about friendship a lot, believing the most important asset any man possesses is good friends.

Do you have a life motto? what is it?

“What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger” F. Nietzsche

How are you surviving in this corona- time?

I tried to keep my contacts with my friends and colleagues alive using social networks. And I think it helped a lot to maintain my connection with the outside world. Also tried to go for walks whenever I could.

Do you have interesting hobbies?

Gaming... Simulations like MSFS, DCS, Skylines and in strategic genre titles like Europe Universal, Total wars, Hearts of Iron and of course the good old Age of Empires.

Any bloopers in the past you would like to share?

This is a hard question, because our lives are full of bloopers and I think that is the beauty of it. Saying that, my most recent one is:
On my first day in Techspire we had an issue using the coffee machine together with a colleague, and the more we tried the worse the situation got :)). The whole team gathered and it became a fun team activity. Finally Peter managed to fix it and we took pictures so in future nobody faces what we experienced 🙂

With what (it) problem should the person who read this, contact you immediately, as you cannot wait to solve it?

Any issues regarding fixing things around the house. I used to have a complete tool set back in Tehran to do all sorts of work around the house from piping to fixing the cabinets. Just keep in mind that I left my toolbox back at my home in Tehran 😉

Tell us any (weird) fun fact about you?

I love hats :), not sure if it can be categorized as weird but I think it is a fun fact about me.

Why do you (want to) work for Techspire?

After working for 12+ years, I have realized the most important thing for me in a company is the energy I get from my colleagues and the environment. I like Techspire culture very much, everybody is having fun and enjoy working together. We help and improve each other, both in technical and soft skills.
