Who are you?
I was born in Accra, Ghana and I am the last of three children. Growing up I was fascinated with how things work and you would often find me tearing apart an appliance or two. My next door neighbour got a computer for his birthday and invited me over to play video games on it. Safe to say that was the start of my journey into all things computer related. I have a wife and a 21 month old daughter and I currently live in Hilversum. I like watching anime and playing video games. I currently play Destiny 2 a lot.
What would you like people to know about you?
I like video games and anime. I enjoy mostly first person shooter and puzzle games. With regards to anime genres, I currently enjoy watching the isekai and shonen types. I also see myself as a hobbyist when it comes to penetration testing and researching security vulnerabilities. I enjoy the process of working in/with teams and helping building useful products.
Do you have a life motto? what is it?
Not all those who wander are lost – J.R.R. Tolkien (The Riddle of Strider)
How are you surviving in this corona- time?
Seems like my entire personality was built for these corona times we’re in 🙂 . I have a fairly solitary personality but I do have periods of social interaction. I used to worry that daily essentials would ran out because of people hoarding stuff but it doesn’t anymore. I learnt how to cut my own hair and it’s saved me quite a bit of money 🙂
Do you have interesting hobbies?
Mainly playing video games and watching anime. I enjoy good barbecue as well.
Any bloopers in the past you would like to share?
I drove the wrong way down a street one time and got chased by the police as a result. I wasn’t charged because the street used to be a two-way but due some road construction it was a temporary one way. The sign indicating it was a one way had fallen over so technically it wasn’t my fault.
With what it problem should the person who read this, contact you immediately, as you cannot wait to solve it?
Tell us any (weird) fun fact about you?
I’m a genius 🙂 No really I am 😀
Why do you (want to) work for Techspire?
I admire the down to earth nature of the leadership and other employees. They’re always willing to help you navigate any personal or work related issues. Moving to the Netherlands was daunting enough but with their help things were smoother. Also I get to work with seasoned professionals whom I can learn a lot from.
